Cultural Competence
Students with gifts and talents value their own and others' language, heritage, and circumstance. They possess skills in communicating, learning, and collaborating with diverse individuals and across diverse groups. They use positive strategies to address social issues, including discrimination and stereotyping.
Reflect on the topics in the following slides, and consider how you can facilitate cultural competence skills in students.

Stand in Groups of 5.
You will get a slip of paper to that will tell you what to do in the conversation with your group of 5. do not show this slip to anyone else.
Your group will talk about your favorite memories at Springville So far.
After considering the significance of the first activity, get onto this jamboard and brainstorm answers to 3 separate questions. You may work in groups or individually.
